I'm just about to go and soak some paper in tea for a personal project but perhaps if you feel like sharing your magic trix, you could mention the process for that background.
Hey thanks Paolo. All the BG is, is an oil painting with some tweaking in photoshop. Then I use scanned in samples of watercolor and layer that, playing with layer transformations.
